Jake asked:
I’ve been thinking over what carrer I wish to go into after finishing school and was thinking of becoming a Police detective in Australia. However I am aware that you require some police work, but I don’t want to become a Police officer straight after leaving school. So I am wondering a few thing. First: Can you choose where to be stationed when you become a officer? Also how long do you spend at police academy when in training? Second: How long must you be a cop for before you can apply to become a detective?
